Frequently Asked Questions
When I go to register for my courses, the box is greyed out. What do I do next?
I don’t know my Bucks ID or Bucks email?
You will receive your Bucks student ID in an email after your application is processed. You will also receive instructions on how to set-up your Bucks email address.
Please call 215-968-8000 with any questions.
How do I reset my Bucks password?
Please contact the help desk by phone at 215-968-8191 or by email at helpdesk@bucks.edu
Is placement testing required?
Placement testing is required for all rising/current 9th and 10th grade students, regardless of GPA, except for any 2-credit kinesiology course taken during the summer. All other courses of interest will require placement testing.
Please review placement test waiver guidelines for grades 11 and 12.
*Please note, students must sit for the math placement test, regardless of GPA, if they have not complete Algebra II with a grade of C or above. It is recommended that students who have taken courses above Algebra II take the math placement test to receive a score that may be more appropriate to their level.
How do I receive accommodations?
Please note that high school IEPs do not transfer to college studies. Students seeking accommodations must contact The Accessibility Office for details.
I have responded "YES" to the FERPA question on the high school approval form. Can my parents/guardians email or call Bucks for me?
While waiving of FERPA rights allows Bucks to discuss your enrollment and education record with a parent/guardian, all requests, questions, and concerns should be sent to Bucks by the student via the student's Bucks email address whenever possible.
When I go to register, it says there is a waitlist. What should I do next?
If all the seats are filled, a course will begin a waitlist. A high school dual-enrollment student is welcome to join the waitlist. If a space becomes available, an email will be sent to the student's Bucks email address with directives. Once the email is received, the student would have 24 hours to claim the open seat. It is strongly recommended that students check their Bucks email daily.
I am a high school senior taking Dual-Enrollment classes. How do I access my Bucks Transcript?
Dual Enrollment Students will need to complete two steps.
1.) Students must submit their transcript requests via Parchment.
2.) Students must email transcripts@bucks.edu and dualenroll@bucks.edu from their Bucks email address sharing that they are currently a high school student and have requested a copy of their transcript. Students must include their Bucks ID in the email.
