Bucks has an array of majors, sometimes called "programs of study," so browse our Majors and Certificate Programs, as well as our Transfer + Planning information.Now that you’ve already begun your college career with Bucks courses, we hope that you’ll consider continuing at Bucks for a degree program after high school!
Steps to becoming a degree-seeking student

Declare a major using the "Change of Major form in your account: bucks.edu/myrecord.
- Attending Bucks as a high school student, you were assigned to a non-degree seeking program instead of a major. You'll need to change your major from "High School Student" to your intended major, even if you are undecided. Bucks has an array of majors, sometimes called "programs of study," so review your choices.

Make an appointment to meet with an advisor to select courses. Schedule your time at bucks.edu/signup.
- Please follow the instructions for "new students," even though you will not technically be new to Bucks.
- Appointments to select Fall courses are available starting in late March.
- Since you have already taken Bucks courses as a high school student, you should already have placement test scores or placement test waivers on your account. You can view them in your Student Planning portal under Test Summary.
Notes
- Students who completed Advanced Placement (AP) courses and took the Advanced Placement (AP) tests in high school may be eligible to use their AP test scores for course credit.
- Students must submit an official copy of their AP test scores (sent directly from the College Board) to Bucks County Community College, Registrar's Office, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
